Nordic poker network switches to Playtech
Several popular online poker sites will migrate from the Tain Poker Network to the iPoker/Playtech Network early in February.
Among those making the move are Expekt.com, Gutshotgaming.com and Pokerducks.com.
Tain has been supplying software to the gambling industry from its base in Stockholm since 1999, whilst Playtech claims to be the world’s largest publicly traded online gaming software supplier.
The migration is a result of a merger in October of last year between the Tain Poker Network and the Tribeca Tables Network (see previous InfoPowa reports).
In November Playtech acquired Tribeca Tables Europe Ltd with the intention of merging the Tribeca operators to the iPoker/Playtech Network.
